What kind of music do you play?

We perform a wide range of genres, including classical, pop, rock, jazz, R&B, movie soundtracks, and even rap! Whether you want Pachelbel’s Canon in D or a string version of Drake’s Hotline Bling, we’ve got you covered. If it can be arranged for strings, we can play it.

Can we request specific songs?

Absolutely. We welcome custom song requests for your ceremony, cocktail hour, or special moments. If it’s not already in our repertoire, we can create a custom string arrangement for you (a small arranging fee may apply for very unique requests).

How many musicians are in the group?

Our core ensemble is a string quartet (two violins, viola, cello), but we can scale up or down depending on your needs and budget. Solo violin or cello, string duo/trio, or even a full chamber ensemble.

Do you only perform at weddings?

Nope! We perform at all kinds of events: corporate gatherings, proposals, private parties, galas, fundraisers, festivals, and more. If it involves music and good vibes, we’re there.

How far in advance should we book?

For weddings and peak seasons (spring/summer), we recommend booking 6–12 months in advance. However, we can often accommodate last-minute requests if our schedule allows, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

Do you perform outdoors?

Yes! We love outdoor ceremonies and events. We just ask for shade/cover and protection from weather elements (direct sun, rain, etc.), as our instruments are delicate. We’ll work with your venue or planner to make it work beautifully.

Do you need amplification?

For most intimate settings, we play acoustically. For larger venues with many guests, we offer discreet amplification options to ensure the music is heard clearly without losing the natural warmth of the strings.

How long do you perform?

We offer flexible performance packages from a 30-minute ceremony set to 3+ hours of background music. Our most popular booking is a 90-minute set covering the ceremony and cocktail hour.

What do you wear?

We typically dress in formal black attire (or more casual chic for laid-back events), but we’re happy to coordinate with your event’s theme or dress code. Just let us know in advance!

Can you travel for events?

Definitely. We’re based in Townsville, but we’re available for travel. Travel and accommodation fees may apply depending on the location.
